In any water treatment process separation of solids from liquid is the most important step. Most fundamental application of water treatment like coagulation and flocculation needs solid liquid separation. Till now this was achieved using settling process which is highly in-efficient with several post treatment to counter the in-efficient treatment.

MemFlocs based submerged filtration system are unique alternate to conventional treatment process. In MemFlocs , 100% solid-liquid separation is achieved using a submerged membrane module. Submerged membrane modules are low pressure filtration device which can be easily applied to lightly polluted wastewater streams which require quick and fast filtration.

COMPACT TREATMENT PLANTS

Memflocs based treatment plant have minimal foot print as compared to other technologies. While conventional sand and carbon media filters give at best 20 micron filtration , Memflocs gives 0.1 micron filtration which is nearly 200 times finer than that offered by conventional systems.

Use of high density hollow fiber membrane modules ensures that treatment plant can fit any difficult location. Plants can easily fit basements as shown in the opposite photograph.

MemFlocs plants can be generally accompanied with chemical coagulation process, post treatment carbon filter and disinfection is required.
